- The nubby texture of noil comes from the use of very short fibers, called 'silk noils,' to weave the fabric. When these short fibers are spun into yarns, the resulting yarns have occasional slubs and loose ends.The size options are PRECUT – if you order 1 yard with a quantity of 2, you will receive two separate 1 yard cuts.
